You can generate targeted website traffic to your website pretty easily if you just dedicate a little time each day to it. It is the number one way to build your business. But how do you do get people to visit your website? How do you ensure that when someone Googles key words associated with the content reflected on your website, that it is your site that appears at the top of the search results? Simply put: you must promote your website through a number of methods and channels. And pick those channel appropriately so that you generate targeted website traffic. The people you really want to see it! Here are some of the most effective ways to bring traffic to your website:

One thing you can do is get listed with multiple search engines. Don’t stop at Google, as there as numerous search engines out there, including: AltaVista, Metacrawler, Ask, Yahoo, MSN and newly launched Bing. Make sure you are listed with at least three major search engines. Statistics show that nearly 50% of website traffic results from search engines. The three biggest search engines out there are: Google, MSN and Yahoo. Don’t stop there, though. Keep in mind search engines that are in your area of interest/expertise; in other words, do your research to find out which engines people use to find out about the product or service you’re promoting.

Create a blog. It’s so easy and it’s so loved by search engines. Once you’ve created a blog, don’t forget to update it as frequently as possible. If you can post something on it daily, then do so; at the minimum, make sure you consistently post on your blog once or twice a week. When you are posting thing of keywords that are related to your business or website and be sure you post a link at the end of your blog entry back to your website. By sticking with keywords that are relevant to what a prospect will be looking for to find you, this will generate targeted website traffic back to your site. Stale content is bad for search engines. Don’t forget to link your blog to your website.

Promotion through social networking. Maybe you don’t like Facebook because you honestly don’t care what somebody ate for breakfast. But don’t forget that social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and even basic emails are vital marketing tools. Combine this with business cards and face-to-face communication and you have a recipe for marketing success. Studies show at least 20% of website traffic results from word-of-mouth, so get connected and never stop promoting your business.

Banner advertising. Studies show that banner ads tend to be better remembered than other forms of advertising. You can pay to post your banner ads on other people’s sites, or why not look into banner trading? Seek out other companies that are not your direct competition and see if they would be willing to trade banners with you. You may be advertising for them, but they’re also advertising for you – and it’s all for free. Check it out.

These are only some of the ways to increase traffic to your website. The most important thing to keep in mind is to keep your content fresh, link to as many affiliate sites as possible and to promote – whether through social networking, face-to-face or emails. Think about the keywords out there that will drive the right traffic that you want. Drive traffic to website, not away from it.

SEO article marketing is something I use to bring traffic back to my blog. This is something that I do weekly and is such a simple and free strategy. It’s very important that you remember consistency. Writing each week or on some schedule will not  bring traffic over night to your site, but over time will bring targeted prospects.
There are many benefits to using seo article writing for your online business or website. The greatest is that once the article has been written, it’s on the internet forever.  It is linked with your website like a permanent impression.

Here are some ways you will be able to utilize seo article writing to boost your status on search engines.

One: Write articles which use a conversational-style of language.  Folks that read online prefer short, concise sentences and direct language so be sure and keep it simple.  Always remember despite the fact that you may be well-versed in a niche such as search engine marketing or affiliate marketing your prospect may not be. You need your potential prospects to feel educated by reading your article, not confused.

Two: Tie your advertising campaign in with your article.  It can be using pay-per-clicks, banner advetising or just repeating your website URL several times throughout your article. Put it all together before you submit your articles to a directory.  Link up all your stuff and get it out on the web! If you don’t have a strong presence online, someone else will and all your efforts will be pointless.
Three: One of the biggest tips for seo article writing is using the exact same set of keywords throughout your article. It will gain popularity on the different search engines by doing this. Use keyword phrases that are different ways of pointing back to your business or webiste. Maybe concepts that are used to desribe your product or service. For example, if you are an affiliate marketer, you might want to repeat and use a a phrase like, “home-based business opportunity”.  Google and other search engines will pick up on this type of keyword strategy and like it. It’s best to use the keyword phrase in the title, and three to four times in the article body.
Four: If you want your website to be ranked at the top of search engines, then you must have new content linked to your site on a regular basis.  Search engines are always looking for the most updated information on a particular subject. Older content falls down the list of favorites fairly fast. So you will want to continually refresh content linked with your site. You will not be doing yourself any favours with your search engine ranking.  One of the best methods of new content are press releases and articles. These are favoured even more when submitted through an article directory site. That site will in turn distribute your article to a host of different search engines.
It has been shown statistically shown that article writing can increase traffic flow to your website by about 30%.  That is substantial growth that can be done for free. If you don’t feel you are a great writter you can even have someone write your articles for you and it’s not that expensive and are wasy to find online. One thing you do want to remember about article writing is that it will benefit your site but not overnight. It does take some time for the article to start to appear on search engines. Be patient and consistant and you will reap the rewards of seo article marketing.

If you’re a marketer with a budget using safelist marketing is among the best free techniques to start with. If you are not familiar with safelist advertising it can be pretty simple. A safelist is a system that members sign up for either at no cost or sometimes an upgraded membership to send emails to other members about your opportunity. Sound confusing? Let me break it down a little bit.

To utilize safelist marketing you, the marketer must go and join. You do that so you can market your services or products to other members. In return these marketers do the same to you. Some might think it is not a terrific audience since basically they are all trying to sell one another on something. Here’s where it’s essential to think. You NEVER market your primary business inside a safelist…honestly never ever. You should attract members to your primary business by building a relationship with them. You have to remember no one wants to be sold! That is the abolute bottom line! Never forget that. A safelist is an excellent place to locate other marketers or people who have the same interests as yourself. Over the years I have used many different internet marketing systems to build my primary network marketing business. I truly believe the success I have had online is a direct reflection of the fact that I use systems. Using systems effectively can determine your success or failure in this industry.

Over time I have recommended many systems to you so today I started thinking about some questions any marketer should ask themselves when looking for the right system for them..

It has been called the perfect marriage of internet marketing and network marketing. It provides all the bullet points that I look for in a system but it also provides something you do not always find in internet marketing systems.

Many times once a system launches things “inside” the system really seem to die down. In the beginning there is great marketing training, numerous resources available to the members. Over time though it seems many leaders begin to seem almost seem absent. It’s as if they generated the commissions they wanted to and moved on to what they see is the next best thing.

That is not the case with Second Income Coach. I have found the training calls have not only continued but have done exactly what a successful system needs to do, they have advanced!! This may seems so small but believe it of not is very hard to find.

Let’s take Facebook for example. Many network marketers are eager to learn how to effectively use Facebook to build relationships and in turn build their businesses. Leverage– time is so important. I know I only have so many hours a day I can spend on my business. I have two wonderful kids I love to spend time with. Maybe you are working full time and trying to build you network marketing business in the evening..time is really important.

That is time you can spend working on your own business or maybe spending some time doing something else you want to do.

Training– Many internet marketing systems offer great training but it just seems to max out at a certain point. The training in the system only seems to broaden and continues to build. You are not taught how to recruit with new members without being taught how to properly follow up with them.

Teamwork and Leadership– You will never log onto a Second Income Coach training webinar and find it’s canceled or no one is there? Why..because we work as a team. It is very hard to find someone who you can work with online. You will find most people are just looking to sell you something. At Second Income Coach we are all working for the same goal…YOU. There are leaders in many areas of expertise the knowledge to be gained is limitless.

Front End & Back End Sales– Last but not least probably something that is really important to you..sales. Using a funded proposal or funded sponsoring system combined with training is a recipe for success in this industry. This is really a two fold perk. It gives you the ability to ensure you are spending your time with the right kind of prospects.

A prospect who is willing to spend a few dollars a month to expand their marketing knowledge is a phenomenal prospect for your primary business. This feeds right in to leveraging your time.
